Delivery and Returns

WHERE WE CAN DELIVER

At Sitting On A Sofa we will deliver to all areas of the United Kingdom; including Northern Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man. We also have a limited delivery service to Europe for orders under 2kg in weight using the Royal Mail Europe service. (Orders over 2kg can become quite expensive)

Delivery Costs

We will delivery FREE of charge to all addresses within the UK. For delivery to Europe please contact customercare@sittingonasofa.co.uk for delivery options and costs. At Sitting On A Sofa we appreciate how important it is to get your order delivered to you as soon as possible.

We deliver all goods by Royal Mail Special Delivery which usually delivers the following working day if ordered by 2pm. If you require a Special Delivery for a Saturday please indicate on your order.

  • Royal Mail 1st Class Special Delivery: Usually takes 1-2 days
  • Royal Mail 2nd Class Service: Usually takes 2-3 days (indicate if you wish this service)
  • Next Day Delivery: If orders are placed before 2pm on Monday-Thursday using the Royal Mail 1st class Special Delivery, deliveries will usually take place the following day. This service is not guaranteed, as occasionally a parcel can be late due to reasons that are out of our control.

Please note that you should allow 1 extra working day for deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and the Far North of Scotland and up to 5 extra working days for the deliveries to and from the Scottish Islands, Jersey and Guernsey.

RETURNS

We operate on a strict 14 day, no fuss returns policy. Just send the goods back to us, you will have to pay for return postage yourself. Returns outside the 14 day window may be accepted at our discretion.

Simply fill in the form that is sent with your goods and let us know why you are returning them. You can also email us on customercare@sittingonasofa.co.uk to notify us that the goods are being returned so that we can log the return on our system.

All goods should be sent back in the original packaging provided. We will then notify you by email once your return has been received and processed.

All successfully returned items will then be credited to the original payment method. The original shipping costs will not be refunded. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

If you wish to return an item for another, you must return the original item first and then place a new order. You will be refunded for the original item in accordance with our returns policy. All goods are checked before they leave Sitting On A Sofa’s Head Office. If you receive an item which is damaged please do not hesitate to contact our customer care team immediately customercare@sittingonasofa.co.uk

Where provided with any designer packaging or authenticity cards, dust bags and tags these should all be included in your returns to receive your full retund.We guarantee that everything we sell is genuine and of the highest quality and we are sure that you will love them as much as we do.
